On 26th June 2007, MPH was crowned Niche Law Firm of the Year at the Lawyer Awards held at the Grovesnor Hotel. A proud MPH team attended with nearly 1,500 other lawyers to hear the news. The firm’s MOD Unit was recognised for its work assisting soldiers, the work it does for the Royal British Legion and for pro-bono work at inquests such as that of the “friendly fire” killing of Lance Corporal of the Horse Matty Hull.

In fact the judges felt that of all the controversies to result from the Iraq war, few have touched the public nerve more than that case.
