The Communication Workers Union today (Friday) again reiterates the offer of unconditional talks at ACAS to bring the postal dispute to an end. Royal Mail has so far not taken up this offer but it will remain open. Dave Ward, CWU deputy general secretary, said: “We have six days before any further strike action would take place. Given the progress we were making in talks earlier this week this should be enough time to reach an agreement. “We want to go to ACAS with no preconditions on either side to resolve this dispute.” Notice for strike action has been served to Royal Mail for the following days next week: Thursday from 4am Friday: Saturday: |
