The Communications Workers Union North West Region Annual Conference took place last week during the TUC’s campaign against the Trade Union Bill currently going through the House of Lords.

All across the NW Region proud CWU members employed by Royal Mail Group demonstrated their solidarity for the TUC’s campaign against the Bill by gathering at work with banners and leaflets extolling the virtues of Trade union membership.

You can see from the pics that some local counselors and one of the region’s MEPs stood with our union members in support of action against a Tory law which will devastate democracy in this country and wipe out some Unions, denude the Labour Party of some £8 million in funding, not to mention attacking the right to withhold our labour.
