CWU Holds Political Forum Event

Today 6th December, CWU Branch and Regional Political Officers are meeting in Birmingham to discuss how politics affects all our lives and especially in our wider society and in the world of work; and subsequently, the union’s political strategy and work in the Labour Party.

Discussions on the union’s key political campaigns and policies – including demands on our industries and our call for a New Deal for Workers – and briefing branches and activists on steps to drive these forward, are a major part of the Forum, as well as providing resources on the UNion’s campaigns and‎ a push to encourage members to get involved in and join the Labour Party.
