As the Regional Secretary I work directly to the General Secretary and have responsibility for overseeing the Regional Executive, Regional Sub-Committees, branches, the region's political and trade union activity and working with the media. I am also responsible for ensuring we deliver our regional strategy, help identify activist training needs, support the development and delivery of the union’s Organising & Recruitment Strategy and co-ordinating national/regional campaigns.
